-Swedish title: Men Who Hate Women
-Larsson witnessed girl get raped when he was 15 and never forgave himself for not helping her. Her name was Lisbeth.

-Adapted into a stage play in 1987 in which only two actors perform the whole thing. It’s the second longest running play in the history of the West End
-Adapted in to a made-for-TV movie in 1989
